 The latest generation of our APS® technology is an open and modular overall system for sound systems, PA and Voice Alarm and evacuation systems in accordance with EN 54-16 / EN 60849. The chief features are the system's very high user-friendliness and simple and clear operation of even very complex systems.
 A selection of over 100 different standard modules, combined with the latest generation of our APS® software, ensures implementation of specific requirements and demands for an intelligent overall system for music/ call/gong etc. and for controlled selective evacuation of a zone, a storey or an entire building.
 Programmable digital microphone consoles with bus system or LAN inter working, building management systems or touch-screen terminals ensure maximum convenience and maximum safety thanks to monitored redundant line routing (EN 54-16 / EN 60849).
Networking with standard LAN networks allows optimum spatial distribution of the various subsystems so as to cut installation costs enormously. The permanently monitored networks also allow inter working with redundant fibre-optic cables and thus minimize the risk of a failure of the overall system.
 State-of-the-art technologies such as amplifiers 100-V of Class-T and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) also guarantee many important advantages, including a substantial reduction in costs and space requirement.
 Dedicated APS® software tools are available for monitoring and remote maintenance to allow a system to be analyzed if necessary within an extremely short time and reprogrammed if required - via modem or Internet.
 Thanks to the open system architecture, our APS® technology features a wide variety of different interfaces and ports, thus providing a high level of flexibility in inter working with third-party systems. Automatic, permanent monitoring of these interfaces and ports guarantees 100% system availability in emergency situations at all times, as prescribed by EN 54-16 / EN 60849.
 Prompted, audible instruction announcements for evacuation as quickly as possible in an emergency have been mandatory Europe-wide for years now (EN 54-16, EN 60849, BS 5839 and NEN 2575). Adaptation to these new conditions and subsequent expansion of existing, less recent APS® systems can now be implemented at any time, in modular fashion and at relatively modest cost.
